Mike, I have listened to the first download and felt that your teaching was a new, thoughtful and, if I may, a profound approach to Christian healing.  It put words to an idea that has been in the back of my head that I could not express. For years I have worked on our ministry team, trying to invoke the Lord to heal. I have been privately very frustrated at the seeming lack of results.

Now that you have encouraged us into a cross-centred ministry of praise and thanksgiving, all heaven has broken out in our church!

Thank you!  The Simply Healing Series is breathtaking. Anyone could understand it, and the way it is put across is so welcoming, that I feel even people who've never been inside a church would want to put it into practice. My neighbour Joan and I listen to the downloads together and read the testimonies with such joy at what 'good press' the Lord is getting. Wonderful! We are passing them on!

Fifty years ago, I was introduced to Spiritual Healing through two very remarkable women,  Agnes Sanford and Emily Gardener Neal. 

Their teaching and bold witness completely changed my approach to pastoral ministry and prayer, and compelled me to try to obey what Jesus said in the Bible about the subject. 

However, I recently attended  a Healing Conference led by The Revd Mike Endicott, who is incredibly gifted in Spiritual Healing. I shall be grateful for the rest of my life that I attended that Conference.  He taught me something that I did not know: for  years, I have prayed fervently, even pleaded, to God, for  healing miracles. That was not wrong, just not enough.  Mike Endicott reminded us that whenever Jesus  sent his followers out to lay hands on the sick, for them to be healed, He in the same breath,  called for his followers  to proclaim the Gospel . Yes,  I have been   preaching the Gospel, from the pulpit on Sundays, but it was separate from my praying for the sick

Mike  taught me to  always  set healing prayers for people in the context of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ, such as beginning prayers for the sick by praying, "Jesus came into the world and died on the Cross for our salvation, which includes making us whole, and healing us to God's Glory!"

That kind of prayer glorifies God , and creates expectancy in one and all. I  just wish I had met Mike Endicott fifty years ago

Hi Mike!

I fully intend to clutter mailboxes with God's good news. You are making a remarkable change in perspective for many of us and I am certain we will pick up the banner and proclaim God's goodness.

I first came to our prayer ministry in May of 2000.  I am celebrating today that we need not beg our Father in heaven but can practise emulating Jesus and standing with him.

I came up for prayer at the Cathedral healing day last Saturday. 

When I was twelve I got a perforated ear drum from when I was at school. I am now 72 and have never been able to hear out of my right ear since then.

As they were praying, the sound got louder and louder in that ear and now I can here as well in the one as in the other.

 

Praise the Lord for all his goodness to me!

There is not the gap between you and God that you might imagine there to be. When God finished the original designing and making of man in the garden of Eden He breathed the divine life into the human shape of dried mud that lay on the ground in front of him, "and man became a living soul." We are wonderfully formed and put together to be a witness and likeness of God. We are, in most holy respects, very like him but the container often taints the liquid to be kept in it. Fresh water stored in an iron pot will soon have a sharp taste in it while tea drunk from a glass will always taste differently than tea drunk from a china cup. But with God and man there is little difference in likeness between the container and that which has to be held. We, that is to say God and mankind, are so near in likeness to one another that it was quite possible, with the coming of Jesus, for the Eternal Word to become Man without ceasing to be God. Again, thirty years or more later, that same word re-ascended to the Highest heaven, and to the highest place in heaven, without deflating and dehumanising Manhood, the humanity which He had assumed, absorbed, been completely part of. "During Mike's kingdom healing demonstration on Tuesday afternoon, I was aware of a sensation in my gammy right knee, an old rugby injury. I prayed along with Mike as he had taught us.  At the end of the day, I was conscious of complete freedom in my knee.  I asked my friends to wait for me before leaving and went over to the church steps.  I tentatively climbed them and then came down again with no pain and with complete freedom.  I repeated the exercise with the same ease, and headed for the car with wonder in my heart.  
My symptoms started to return on Friday evening and I addressed them in the name of Jesus and they disappeared immediately!  All praise to our Lord and His healing power!"

Letter to Revd Mike Endicott for publication

This is Jean's story (she was 81 when she wrote this)

 

 

Dear everybody in the office,

 

I was getting ready to go on the Away Day at Weston-Super-Mare for the ALPHA course when I fell and broke  my arm.

This resulted in my attending hospital to have my arm set. Because of my emphysema I was unable to have anesthetic so they tried to have my arm set unaided which was very painful. I was in agony of pain.

I had a terrible night and on Sunday the pain was awful - so bad that I went back to the hospital and was told I  might have to have an operation which would be very risky because I can't have any anesthetic.

In the evening I went with May, my neighbour, to  Zion Baptist Church where a service of healing was to take place.

After the preacher, Revd Mike Endicott, had spoken we were invited to go out to the front where a team from Jacob's Well ministries prayed with  me and asked for the pain to go away and that I would not have to have an operation. The pain subsided as they  prayed and by the time I got home it had gone away altogether and I had a wonderful nights sleep.

I feel God took  away my pain and thank him for that and the team for their prayers.

Next morning I returned to the hospital and they didn't have to operate - isn't God good?

Dear Mike,

        I apologise for being much later than I had intended but have been out so much each day.. But here is the Testimony I told you I would send and encourage others in need ( or not !!)

        At a meeting at our Church Mike was teaching about pain and the healing grace of Jesus from the Cross. My pain was not there then, because the back pain I suffered was in the mornings after getting up from bed. I couldn't bend from my lower back and it was painful. 

Mike prayed about this affliction at the end of the meeting.  The next morning, the pain was gone and I could bend down easily to dress and make other movements. 

So I give praise for the healing power of the risen Christ and give him the Glory.  God bless you,  Ann

Hi all,

 

I would like to share my little miracle that happened to me.

 

On Thursday (the last day of Mike's 3 day seminar) my colleague that I give a lift to work, said that her chest felt very close (she had the flu). I then

offered my Ventolin (asthma) spray (I knew I had 2 in my bag), which she accepted. As I took the spray out my bag, I realised that I have not used the

spray for 2 days. (I used it very often the last 2 months, like 8x a day). Up to today, I have not yet used the spray. Now,  that is shadow healing for

you! I did not even ask Jesus for healing for asthma, I just received it.

 

I still suffer from arthritis, (I have not yet asked for healing, but I will.)
